Psychotherapy Disclosure:
Between Suns does not operate as traditional psychotherapy. The services offered by Between Suns should not be considered a replacement for therapy. I consider this work closer to independent life coaching. Should you require routine psychotherapy or mental health treatment, other options may be more viable for you. Your care and well-being are important. I have found in my experience, that the most effective mental health therapy happens when you are committed to a recurring schedule and your care is being regularly addressed by a professional.

Practitioner Licensure & Code of Ethics:
As a licensed professional and social worker, I have a duty to abide by a code of ethics. I am also a mandated reporter, which means that I have to report any threats of harm, to yourself or others, to either the local government, emergency services, or other appropriate agency or individuals. You may information pertaining to the code of ethics here.

Cancellation Policy:
If you are to cancel or reschedule your appointment within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment time, you will be responsible for 50% of the cost of service. If you have already paid for your service, you will receive a 50% refund.
If you are to cancel or reschedule your appointment the same day of service, you will be responsible for 100% of the cost of services. If you have already paid for your service, you will forfeit 100% of the deposit made.

Late Policy:
If you are late to your appointment, this may result in shortened service time without reimbursement. If you are late beyond 50% of the scheduled time (e.g. you have a forty minute session and are twenty minutes late or over), your appointment will be canceled or rescheduled, and you will remain responsible for 100% of the service fee.
